Job Coach
A job coach will provide a direct care service for all consumers who participate in the supported employment program. The direct care services include but are not limited to: career advising, skills training, assessment, counseling, intervention, and advocacy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Uses a variety of job coaching methods to meet the needs of both the participant and the employer at the client's place of work.
• Identifies and evaluates how well participant do their jobs.
• Helps participant learn how to do their jobs.
• Keeps track of the progress of all assigned participant.
• Participants are also helped with the creation and revision of the assigned annual, biannual, or quarterly support employment service plan.
• Keeps an eye on participant at work sites.
• Takes part in any training required by the agency.
• Makes sure that all MDN Employment Services policies and procedures are followed.
Job requirements:
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English
• Immediate access to a vehicle with up-to-date safety records and DMV-approved insurance.
• Able to travel within the area of the assigned program.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid within the first 30 to 60 days of work.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $17.50 per hour (or DOE)
Schedule:
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
ILS Coach
Position Summary:
ILS Coach will provide a direct care service for all individuals who participate in the independent living service program. The direct care services include but are not limited to : career advising, skills training, assessment, community resource awareness, counseling, and advocacy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and update online calendar for personal work schedule
Communicate with individuals and families on availability and overall satisfaction
Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Identify and analyze individuals work performance
Assist individuals in mastering independent skills
Train and assist in areas of cleaning, community resource awareness, cooking, home and community safety, meal preparation, medical and dental services, menu planning, mobility, money management, personal health & hygiene, recreation, self -advocacy and / or shopping.
Assist in the development and revisions of the daily and semi - annual notes
Participate in any agency required training.
Adhere to all program policies and procedures
Maintain valid CPR and First aid certificates
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be fingerprint cleared prior to working with individuals
High School Diploma
Valid Class C driver license
Must write and speak in English and or Spanish
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $18 - $20 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Flexible, as you coordinate with the individuals and families on days and hours.
